Add it back. Support channel is pointless and unused by staff. Reporting players in support chat is pointless. They cheat for 3 hours then a staff with tag the report and say "player is offline." Staff check is maybe once a day if that. Without being pinged nobody checks it outside to say 1 of 3 things.

    1. "Pm'd"
    2. Becto.net/appeal
    3. Becto.net/tickets

Support chat is home to memes. Players misusing it cause of how unhelpful the channel has become. When @STAFF was first removed everyone freaked out cause they were worried about this issue happening. And Staff swore that it wouldn't become a dead channel. What happened?

The support chat for the past 2 days alone has seen 2 players get help in less than an hour. Other than those 2 times. Its all players asking for help and getting none. Or another player comes alone 5+ hours later to help them. By then the new player is either quit the server, or they never get a reply.

Would like to say, this isn't a thread to bash staff members. So don't go comment "yeah _ is so bad at staff."

I would just like support chat to become a useful channel again.

Criticism will just get you banned from Discord, first hand knowledge here.

We do check that chat on Discord as much as we did when the @STAFF tag was there. It was removed because a lot of players mis-used it to ping staff for no reason. Staff members still receive notifications from messages in that chat and try to respond as much as they can.

Players still ping staff for no reason. It didn't stop anything other than support char being useful. I find it very hard to believe that when @STAFF was a thing. Hackers getting reported would get banned. But now with it gone, no staff logs on once a hacker is said to be online in support chat.

Highly doubt staff check it as often as even currently in support chat there are still 0 staff members replying to messages.

Players on the server, when they see hackers make fun of the fact how staff don't get on, and don't check support chat. The amount of times I'll see "we just have to wait days for staff to ban him." "Don't bother reporting they won't get on till 4 hours later." Is way way too often for staff to be checking support as often as when they were pinged. Players who mis-use support chat, just remove them from being able to use it? Staff warn players like 8 times before they actually remove it. So just do a one and done warning. Get warned once. Next its gone.
